'Pet Sematary' stigle prve reakcije na reboot film

Nova adaptacija Stephen Kingovog Pet Sematary stiže u kina sljedećeg mjeseca, iako je film dobio zavidnu poziciju zatvaranja filmskog festivala South by Southwest u Austinu, Texas. Knjige je prvi puta adaptirana u film 1989. godine, a fanovi ju i dalje smatraju jednom od najboljih Kingovih adaptacija. Kao što je to dokazala vrhunska adaptacija filma IT iz 2017. godine, dovoljno je vremena prošlo između adaptacije Kingove knjige, što se pokazalo ogromnim uspjehom, s filmom koji je zaradio više od $700 milijuna diljem svijeta, bez obzir na to što je bio napravljen u vrlo hvaljenu i kultnu mini-seriju iz 1990. godine. S obzirom na to da nam se bliži premijera Pet Sematary, stižu nam prve reakcije na film putem društvenih mreža.

Na temelju horor romana Stephena Kinga, Pet Sematary prati dr. Louis Creed (Clarke), koji se nakon preseljenja sa svojom ženom Rachel (Seimetz) i njihovih dvoje djece iz Bostona u ruralni Maine otkriva tajnovito groblje skriveno duboko u šumi blizu njihovog novog doma. Kad ih tragedija zadesi, Louis se okrene svom neobičnom susjedu, Jud Crandallu (Lithgow), pokreće opasnu lančanu reakciju koja oslobađa neizrecivo zlo s užasnim posljedicama.

Redatelj novog filma, Groblje kućnih ljubimaca, će biti Kevin Kolsch i Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes, Scream: The TV Series), s Jeff Buhler (The Midnight Meat Train) kao scenaristom.

Originalna filmska verzija Pet Sematary (Groblje kućnih ljubimaca) je izašla 1989, s Kingom kao scenaristom, a nastavak je izašao 1992 godine. Ako ste vidjeli nastavak, znate zašto trećeg dijela nije bilo. Ovaj novi film će biti remake originalnog filma iz 1989 godine, a ne neka verzija nastavka.

#PetSematary is *vicious* and I LOVED it. Super brutal visuals and was thrilled to see Widmyer & Kölsch fully embrace the deeply unsettling themes of mortality from the book. And WOW Jeté Laurence. They really pushed it with this adaptation & it worked for me – big time. ? #sxsw
